The Budadee Foundation was established to protect and care for the cultural and environmental values in the Woodstock Abydos Protected Reserve (WAPR). The WAPR is a highly significant area in the inland Pilbara region of Western Australia. Home to the largest rock art gallery in the inland Pilbara and a variety of rare plant and animal species the area is highly significant not only for its cultural heritage, but also its environmental values. The Budadee Foundation is developing and implementing a suite of cultural and environmental programs in the WAPR.
Our Country CEO Dr Blaze Kwaymullina sits on the board of the Budadee Foundation and provides ongoing pro bono support and leadership across a wide variety of areas including strategic planning, governance, fund raising, marketing and communications, program design and project management.
